Carrefour supermarkets in Dubai
Supermarkets in Dubai make grocery shopping a convenient affair. With a wide selection of daily essentials, these supermarkets also offer amazing discounts periodically. The widely available Carrefour Dubai supermarkets are preferred by most residents in the city when it comes to buying regular essentials.
One of the driving factors for this popularity is the fact that there is no shortage of Carrefour supermarkets in Dubai, no matter where you live in the city. Many of the top malls in Dubai have Carrefour outlets where shoppers can buy a range of grocery items and many residential community centres also have smaller Carrefour supermarkets to support the needs of local residents.
ABOUT CARREFOUR SUPERMARKETS
Carrefour is a French multinational retailer offering competitive prices on a wide range of products as compared to other supermarket chains in the city. Along with daily groceries, you can also find accessories, clothing and electronics at Carrefour outlets in Dubai.
Overall, Dubai Carrefour supermarkets offer more than 100,000 food and non-food products. These include meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, as well as deli items.
You can also find a range of baked items, fashion and beauty goods and electronics. These separate sections are attended by specialist staff who undergo specialised training to answer customer queries.
In addition to this, the Carrefour Dubai app helps you accumulate points while shopping, that you can redeem with future purchases. Not to mention, you can also get your favourite products delivered to your doorstep, thanks to Carrefour online Dubai.
The biggest Carrefour outlets in Dubai are located in the older malls of the city, such as Al Ghurair City Centre, BurJuman Mall, Wafi Mall and Deira City Centre. Interestingly, Mall of the Emirates has the biggest Carrefour in Dubai and all of the Middle East. It features 13,400 sq.m. of selling area, in addition to 2,000 sq.m. of storage area.
Carrefour supermarkets also serve popular residential communities in the city, counting among the best supermarkets in Al Barsha and among the top supermarkets in Jumeirah.
Customers like shopping at Carrefour Dubai because it serves as a one-stop destination offering a wide variety of products conveniently organised into sections. You can also use Carrefour Now to order groceries online and enjoy speedy delivery.
Majid Al Futtaim launched Carrefour in the UAE back in 1995 at City Centre Deira. In just a short time, the brand gained significant popularity and now operates in almost 40 countries in and around the Middle East. It is estimated that there are over 175 Carrefour stores in the Middle East alone, serving over 200,000 happy customers every day.
Part of the popularity of the supermarket chain is its stellar customer service as a well as a lean supply chain system that focuses not just on the speedy availability of goods, but also on the value customers derive from the shopping experience.
Carrefour Dubai is also among the most cost-effective places to buy groceries in Dubai. According to a 2018 online survey by Souqalmal.com, Carrefour was shown to be the cheapest place in Dubai to buy groceries. This study included other prominent retail chains like Union Co-Op, LuLu, Spinneys and Choithrams. According to this study, customers were able to buy up to 11 household items like milk, bread, eggs and detergents for less than AED 150.
One of the reasons Carrefour can offer low prices is that their fresh produce section is sourced from farms in the UAE, instead of being imported from countries outside the emirates. Likewise, products packaged locally will also be cheaper than imported ones. Plus, you can always find Carrefour offers and promotions on most of the essential products.
And you can further your savings by signing up for Carrefour loyalty programmes. For instance, the ‘My Club’ loyalty program earns you .05 points for every dirham spent. So once you accumulate 500 points, you can avail an AED 50 discount.
Carrefour customers can also join Majid Al Futtaim’s Share rewards program that allows you to earn and redeem points across 2,000 stores in 16 malls. You can earn 5 points for every AED 100 spent at any Carrefour outlet inside a Majid Al Futtaim mall. For redemption, each 10 is equal to AED 1. Those who are already in the My Club programme can also participate in Share rewards.
You can easily register for Carrefour’s loyalty programmes on the official website for free.
